INTRODUCTION TO the MAKEUP ARTISTRY - £150

This course is an intensive one training day that runs from 10:00 to 16:00.

You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, on a model, with a short break.

MAKEUP ARTISTRY Course - £390

This course runs 3 days - once a week, 3 models, 3 types of makeup. This course is running from 10:00-16:00, one model per day. You will learn the theory of the treatment firstly, and spend the majority of the day practising your practical skills, on a model, with a short break.

Day 1: Skin Preparation & Natural Makeup

A flawless makeup look starts with perfect skin preparation. On the first day, you’ll learn how to create a radiant, natural makeup look suitable for everyday wear.

What You Will Learn:

✔ Skin Types & Prep – Understanding different skin types and how to prep them for long-lasting makeup

✔ Product Knowledge – Choosing the right skincare and makeup products for each client

✔ Foundation & Concealer Techniques – Achieving a smooth, even complexion

✔ Eyebrow Shaping & Definition – Enhancing natural brows for a polished look

✔ Soft & Natural Eye Makeup – Blending techniques for a fresh, effortless style

✔ Blush, Contour & Highlight – Subtle sculpting for a healthy glow

Day 3: Bridal & Photography Makeup

Both Courses offer the perfect starting point for those wishing to embark on a career in the makeup industry.

This blended learning programme combines essential underpinning theory with high-quality practical based training to develop the core skills, knowledge, and confidence required to enter the world of work within the makeup industry.

Starting from the basics we’ll cover topics including: how to prep the skin for makeup, choosing the right foundation and creating a flawless base, professional makeup application techniques, building your kit, and much more. You will learn anatomy and physiology of skin, health & safety, how to carry out a consultation, how to determine skin type, colour theory, makeup styles, and tools of the trade.

Kits are included ONLY for the duration of the course (not take home).

Upon booking (deposit required) you’ll be sent a confirmation email with course e-manual attached. We recommend reading this before your training day to get the most from your course.

When you have successfully completed your training day(s), you will receive The Professional Makeup course diploma which is fully Accredited by Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT). This allows you to gain public liability insurance to work with paying clients.
